Air Marshals Lose 5-4 Decision to Sudbury
The Sudbury Meteors did just enough to sneak past the Nipissing Air Marshals, 5-4, at Sudbury Grounds. Sudbury pitcher Sean Barry, in particular, had a standout performance. Barry yielded 4 runs over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 3, and struck out 8. His record improves to 2-2. Don Day notched his 1st save of the season.

In the bottom of the second, Sudbury shortstop Patroclo Flores had a run-producing at-bat. Facing Nipissing hurler Uinsin O'Callaghan, Flores grounded out, driving in 1 run. That made the score 2-0, Sudbury. For the day, Flores drove in one run.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Sudbury manager Enrique Torres.

The setback makes the Air Marshals 11-19.
