Bonebreakers Earn Late Win
The Pickering Bonebreakers sent the home crowd home ecstatic.

The Pickering Bonebreakers picked up a win at Bonebreakers Park, taking down the Kitchener Wild Pigeons, 3-2. Starting pitcher Alrigo Leitez was a big reason why. With the win, the Bonebreakers have a record of 16-11.

In the bottom of the tenth, Nicky Hughes had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring sacrifice fly to left off Kitchener pitcher Roberto Quevedo.

Hughes said afterward that "winning is what it's all about."
