The Moncton Magnets met their match today in Thurso hurler Atenágoras Uribe. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 1-hit shutout.
"He just worked us over," Moncton skipper Plutarco Carrillo said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat."
In the 3-0 victory, Uribe whiffed 5 and gave up 2 walks.
His record this year is 5-3 in 8 starts and Uribe has a 4.45 ERA.
