Niigata Hands Morioka 5-3 Defeat

Niigata took on Morioka in front of a lively crowd.
Frank Harrison made an impact in the 5-3 Niigata win over Morioka. Harrison was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Donnie Williams locked down his 1st save.
With Niigata leading 4-2 in the top of the sixth, Harrison hit a run-scoring single off Morioka hurler Seijun Kondo. It was the 39th hit of the season for Harrison and put his team ahead, 5-2.
"Winning is great," Harrison said. "It's always just guys picking each other up -- if not me, then the next guy."
With the victory, the Hakuchoh upped their record to 26-21.
