Quebec City took on Thurso in front of a lively crowd.

Riding the 4-hit performance of the 22-year old left fielder Manny Morrissey, the Quebec City Dons defeated the Thurso Bucherons, 10-0. Kai Thomson, the winning pitcher, is now 5-1. He went 8.2 innings, allowing no runs on 10 hits, while fanning 3 and walking 2.

Teócrito Cabán had a big 2-run double for the Dons in the bottom of the third inning. With Quebec City leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a sinker from Corey Lang, who is tied for 3rd in the LBQ in complete games with 8, and swatted a double to left. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dons ahead, 4-0.

"Not my idea of a good time," Thurso manager Joey Stockman said, when asked afterward about the game.

Quebec City is second in the Ligue du Baseball du Quebec Division Maritime with a record of 21-18.
