Fourches Trip Privateers, 3-0

Levis and Sherbrooke duked it out and the Fourches came out victorious.
The Levis Fourches topped the Sherbrooke Privateers, 3-0, in Ligue du Baseball du Quebec action at Fourches Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Levis pitcher Lucio Canio. Levis reliever Lucio Canio got the win, raising his record to 4-2. Gilberto Martínez was tagged with the loss. Catón Gil picked up his 6th save of the season.
Levis went up, 3-0, on Pol Byrne's 10th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Byrne hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Sherbrooke pitcher Gilberto Martínez shaking his head.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Byrne. "And not try to do too much."
With the win, Levis upped its record to 24-20.
