The Iga Shinobi locked up a win at Shinobi Field, knocking off the Seki Katanakaji, 4-2. On the mound for Iga was right-hander Aiichiro Nishi. He played a major role in the triumph. Nishi, now 7-8, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. The 7th-place Shinobi hiked their record to 24-31.

Iga went up, 4-2, on Shoin Sasaki's 8th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Sasaki hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Seki pitcher Quilvio Argueta muttering to himself.
