The Thessalon North Stars locked up a win at North Stars Stadium, knocking off the Nipissing Air Marshals, 5-2. On the mound for Thessalon was right-hander Shane Fish. He played a major role in the triumph. The save was Jibril Bashir's, his 2nd. The North Stars, at 30-22, sit in second place in the Ontario Baseball Association Ontario North.

The North Stars got a big at-bat from designated hitter Pirro Gutiérrez. For the game, Gutiérrez went 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Thessalon a 2-1 lead.
