Bonebreakers Pull Out Late Win, 3-2
Pickering pitcher George Benson did his part in helping his team beat the Markham Wheelwrights, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Picking up the save was Gerardo Becerra, his 4th. The Bonebreakers move to 29-32 with the win, while the Wheelwrights drop to 29-32.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 28-year old center fielder Atanasio Banegas. Banegas had a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bonebreakers ahead, 3-2. For the game, Banegas had 1 double and 1 single in 2 at-bats.

"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Benson. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
