Kamakura first baseman Sadao Kuroki contributed significantly to his team's 8-0 win over the Morioka Ayame. Kuroki, who is tied for 5th in the NL in triples with 5, went 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Kodaibito. At 45-39, the Kodaibito are currently third in the Northern League.

In the bottom of the third, Kuroki had one of his most important at-bats: a 2-run single off Hakaru Takamiya that staked the Kodaibito to a 2-0 lead.
