Sleeping Giants Pull Out Late-Game Win, 2-1
The Thunder Bay Sleeping Giants earned a close win over the Nipissing Air Marshals, thanks in part to Braulio Saligán. The Thunder Bay left-hander, who is tied for 7th in the OBA in innings pitched with 150.2, played a key role in the 2-1 victory. The Sleeping Giants raised their record to 37-33.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Julián Santillán in the bottom of the ninth. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Jonás Díaz to win it for Thunder Bay and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"Walking a team off at the end -- there's no greater feeling," said Santillán.
