Fourches Park was the site for Ligue du Baseball du Quebec action featuring the Levis Fourches and Moncton Magnets.

Roano Rangel was instrumental in his team's 12-2 triumph over the Levis Fourches. The shortstop went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 2 for the Moncton Magnets. Salvador Ramos earned the win. Archie Watt, who is tied for 9th in the LBQ with a 3.14 ERA, took the loss for Levis.

With Moncton leading 2-1 in the top of the second, Rangel batted against Levis pitcher Archie Watt. Rangel hit a changeup to left for a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Magnets on top, 4-1.

"They took us to the woodshed," said Levis manager Salvino Gómez.

With the win, Moncton upped its record to 47-28.
