Insulaires Earn Win with Late Rally
The Gatineau Draveurs got a sterling performance from pitcher Ed Townsend, but the Laval Insulaires still prevailed, 4-3. Townsend threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball. Finley Ward, credited with the win in relief, is now 7-6. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. The Laval win streak is now 5 games.

The Insulaires got a clutch hit from catcher Rafael Burga. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Insulaires.

Burga called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
