The rain did not keep Thunder Bay and Sudbury from finishing their game.

The Thunder Bay Sleeping Giants beat the Sudbury Meteors, 4-1. Thunder Bay pitcher and Hamilton, Canada, native Terry Seaman led the way. The winning pitcher was Seaman, now 10-7. He tossed 5 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 4.

The Sleeping Giants extended their lead in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, Eduardo Jiménez drew a walk, driving in 1 run to make it 3-1, Thunder Bay.

"At the end of the day, wins and losses are really the only thing that matters," said Jiménez.

The Sleeping Giants move to 43-36 with the win, while the Meteors drop to 54-29.
