Meteors Stumble, Lose 6-3 to Sleeping Giants
Sleeping Giants catcher Disibodo Torres left his imprint on his team's 6-3 win over the Sudbury Meteors. Torres was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Thunder Bay in the contest. Getting the save was Andrónico Lona, his 4th. The second-place Sleeping Giants improved to 44-36.

Thunder Bay took a 6-3 lead on Torres's 8th double of the season. The 2-run double, which he hit off Luis Aguilar in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Thunder Bay to the win.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Torres told the Thunder Bay Observer.
