The Nipissing Air Marshals picked up a win at Florists Grounds, downing the Brampton Florists, 6-3. On the mound for Nipissing was right-hander Ignacio Hernández, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Air Marshals raised their record to 42-40.

Nipissing took control in the top of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Dale McGregor hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Air Marshals.

McGregor told the Nipissing Daily News: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
