A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Laval Insulaires and Thurso Bucherons.

Laval Insulaires starter Felipe Hernández was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Thurso Bucherons, 5-0. Hernández picked up the win for Laval, going 7 innings. He gave up no runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 7-8.

The Insulaires got a lift from catcher Rafael Burga, who in the bottom of the first hit a 2-run double. His 8th double of the season put the Insulaires on top, 3-0.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Laval manager Timoteo Sandoval. "It's usually not just one thing."
