Trois-Rivieres took on Moncton in front of a lively crowd.

Trois-Rivieres registered a win at Magnets Stadium by beating the Moncton Magnets, 8-4. Pitcher Fermín Cruz was one reason why the Trifluviens triumphed. With the victory, the Trifluviens upped their record to 55-36.

Trois-Rivieres relied on the hitting of Raúl Blanco to pick up the win. The left fielder ripped a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put the Trifluviens on top, 4-0. For the game, Blanco had 1 triple and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

Blanco said afterward that "winning is the goal."
