Muñoz Leads North Stars to 7-1 Win Over Sleeping Giants
At Thunder Bay Grounds, the Thunder Bay Sleeping Giants and Thessalon North Stars were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Due in large part to left fielder Pío Muñoz, the Thessalon North Stars sunk the Thunder Bay Sleeping Giants, 7-1. Muñoz was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. With the win, the North Stars improved to 52-42.

The North Stars got a lift from second baseman Ben Lord, who in the top of the second stroked a 0-1 curveball to left for a run-scoring single. It was his 16th hit of the season and put the North Stars ahead, 2-0.

Muñoz told a Thessalon Daily News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
