The Fukushima Kamome beat the Niigata Hakuchoh, 5-3, at Kamome Ballpark. Rube Ellis, who is tied for 5th in the NL in runs scored with 65, starred for Fukushima. He went 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Adrasto Robles picked up the win, lifting his record to 6-6 on the season. He struck out 4 and walked 2 in 8.1 innings, while yielding 3 runs. The Kamome raised their record to 54-61.

Ellis contributed in the bottom of the second. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Fukushima get the win.
