Cruz Blasts Teitoku, Kuma Take Game 5, 8-4
Kumamoto first baseman Cristóbal Cruz was the key at Teitoku Park, as he powered the Kuma to victory in a critical Game 5 of the Pennant Series. The Kuma took the 8-4 win over the Kagoshima Teitoku to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Miguel Ángel Novoa came through with a big-time hit for Kumamoto. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Huge," Novoa said. "Game 5 is huge."

The next game is set to be played for Sunday, August 22nd , 1915 at Kuma Stadium in Kumamoto.
