Díaz Records Shutout Against Rapids
In an impressive mound performance, Príamo Díaz of the Sudbury Meteors checked the Sault Ste. Marie Rapids on a 3-hitter and held them scoreless.

"He was getting ahead of us and keeping the ball off the plate," said Sault Ste. Marie manager Silverio Gómez. "Díaz kept us confused the whole game."

The Sudbury hurler rang up 9 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in his 3-0 shutout victory.
