Markham Beats Thessalon, 4-2

The Markham Wheelwrights picked up a win at Markham Stadium, dropping the Thessalon North Stars, 4-2. Miguel Fragoso was the difference-maker. Ismael Galan recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 6 for 11. The win elevated the Wheelwrights to 60-54.
Tomás Villanueva had a big 2-run double for the Wheelwrights in the bottom of the third inning. With Markham leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a cutter from Jacob Eneti, who is rated as the 11th best prospect by BNN, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Wheelwrights ahead, 3-0.
"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Villanueva. "It sure beats the alternative."
