Another game, another loss for the struggling Sudbury Meteors.

The Nipissing Air Marshals picked up a win at Sudbury Grounds, knocking off the Sudbury Meteors, 8-4, in 11 innings. Starting pitcher Ignacio Hernández played a key role in the triumph. Nipissing raised its record to 63-48 with the win.

Nipissing used the clutch hitting of Felipe Domínquez to capture the win. The catcher drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the 11th inning to give the Air Marshals the lead, 5-4. For the game, Domínquez had 1 single and 2 doubles in 5 at-bats.

"We're learning some lessons in the school of hard knocks," philosophized losing manager Jesús Vásquez.
