Tabacaleros Cruise to Campeonato de las Ligas with Sweep
It's a sweet sweep for the Trinidad Tabacaleros and they have won the Campeonato Interdivisional. The Holguin Pericos were not able to keep pace with the Tabacaleros and dropped the series in short order, losing, 4-2, in the deciding game.

"This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Holguin manager Alcides Hernández.

It's now on to the Campeonato de las Ligas for Trinidad after their 3-0 series win.

Leading the way for the winners was first baseman Min-soo Kim, who was named MVP. For the series, Kim hit .333 with a .385 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The Trinidad Tabacaleros don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Bayamo Rafagas - Manzanillo Martenos series. Bayamo leads the series 2 games to 1. The Campeonato de las Ligas schedule will be announced after the Campeonato Interdivisional finishes.
