Led by Generoso Domínguez, the Thunder Bay Sleeping Giants defeated the Nipissing Air Marshals, 6-4. Domínguez went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Sleeping Giants. Édgar Martínez earned his 5th save in 10 chances. At 63-56, Thunder Bay is in third place in the Ontario Baseball Association Ontario North.

Thunder Bay used a clutch at-bat from Julián Santillán to capture the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Sleeping Giants ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"It feels good to get this one," Santillán told the Thunder Bay News.
