The Nipissing Air Marshals downed the Thunder Bay Sleeping Giants, 1-0, at Air Marshals Park. Starring for Nipissing was pitcher Matt Kirby. Nipissing bumps their record to 66-51 with the win.

The Air Marshals liked what they saw from Kirby. The 21-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Sleeping Giants to no runs on 6 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 8.
