With Late Score, Cadavers Beat Yodelers
Cadavers Park played host to some high drama.

Despite a great performance by New Braunfels second baseman Rodulfo Nieves, the San Marcos Cadavers defeated the Yodelers by the score of 6-5 at Cadavers Park. Nieves went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. San Marcos reliever Jorge Jiménez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Charlie Hunter was saddled with the loss.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when San Marcos first baseman Brendan Lacroix, facing Charlie Hunter, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Cadavers the 6-5 win.

"Good team win," Lacroix said. "I love it when a plan comes together."

With the win, San Marcos climbs to 5-4.
