Parquecito de Isabela was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Isabela Jerezanos and Aguadilla Alevines.
Isabela Jerezanos starter Atilano García pitched well against the Aguadilla Alevines at Parquecito de Isabela, leading his team to a win, 4-3. Jason Byrd picked up the win in relief for Isabela, while Ronald Stacey took the loss.
Fintan Corey played the role of hero for Isabela. In the bottom of the tenth, he launched a solo home run off Ronald Stacey to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was the decisive blow.
"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said García. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset."
The win puts Isabela at 2-3.
