|
Tyler Pecan Kings starter Loquillo Martínez pitched a strong game against the Galveston Gulls at Pecan Kings Stadium, leading the Pecan Kings to victory, 7-2. Martínez, who is tied for 2nd in the EFBA in wins with 3, went the distance for Tyler. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. Galveston, now 2-13, has gotten off to a terrible start.
Efraín Trejo contributed to the Tyler win with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 RBI.
