Mayaguez pitcher Nicanor Sifuentes had a large part in his team beating the Isabela Jerezanos, 9-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Sifuentes, who is rated as the 71st best prospect by BNN, went the distance for Mayaguez. He gave up 3 runs on 6 hits. Now 10-3, the 1909 Alfereces have been sensational so far.
