The Isabela Jerezanos topped the Lares Gritantes, 6-3, in Liga Mariana Bracetti action at Parquecito de Lares. The game was highlighted by the performance of Isabela pitcher Izaac Konecny. With the win, Isabela elevates its record to 8-8.

Isabela used the bat of Helmuth Schimpf to get the win. The second baseman hit a slider from Luis Arriaga out of the park for a 2-run home run. The blast came in the top of the fourth inning and put the Jerezanos on top, 3-1. It was Schimpf's lone hit, but it left a mark.

Schimpf said his team "played with determination."
