Losing Trend Continues for Brandon
The Winnipeg Strikers topped the Brandon Threshers, 8-2, in Plains League action at Winnipeg Grounds. The standout performance belonged to Winnipeg pitcher and Fajardo, Puerto Rico, native Jaime Ramírez. Ramírez, now 5-2, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. Brandon, at 4-21, is off to a dreadful start in 1908.

Winnipeg first baseman Jesús Delgado made an impact. He drilled a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Delgado was 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk.
