Raven slugs 2 home runs to Fuel Hellfire Offense
|
In a tight game between the Kelowna Grizzlies and the Medicine Hat Hellfire, nobody was more important for the winners than Marvin Raven. Raven was masterful in the 2-1 win. The Hellfire saw their win-loss record go to 29-27. At the same time, the Grizzlies fell to 25-28.
In the bottom of the eighth, Raven put his team in front with his 9th home run of the season. The solo home run, which came against Onur Yamak, made it 2-1, Medicine Hat.
Kelowna manager Aidan Gordon, after yet another defeat, said: "Just different when you have that swimming feeling in your cranium. It's difficult to focus."
