In a tight tilt between the Kamloops Fur Traders and the Calgary Chargers, Gary Tobias was the difference-maker. The Kamloops left-hander excelled in his team's 3-2 win in 16 innings. The first-place Fur Traders improved to 44-36.

The Fur Traders got a clutch hit from first baseman Hipólito Flores. In the bottom of the 16th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Fur Traders.

"I was just trying to execute one pitch at a time," said Tobias.
