Threshers Collect 10-8 Win Over Mennonites
The Brandon Threshers beat the Steinbach Mennonites, 10-8, in 12 innings at Steinbach Grounds. Rafael Viñas, in particular, was impressive. He went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The Threshers now own a record of 30-53.

Brandon used the clutch hitting of Leví García to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the 12th inning to give the Threshers the lead, 10-8. For the game, García had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said Viñas. "But we got it done."
