Hollyhocks Roll Past Dukes, 7-2
Rufo Porrata was locked in. The right-hander led the Santa Fe Hollyhocks to a 7-2 win against the Albuquerque Dukes at Dukes Field. Frank Groves closed the door for Santa Fe, picking up his 2nd save of the year. With the win over Albuquerque, the Hollyhocks improved to 24-22.

Santa Fe used a well-timed hit by Manuel Astudillo to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Hollyhocks ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

In postgame comments to the Santa Fe Daily, Astudillo said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
