Mammoths Handed 5-4 Loss by New Braunfels
The New Braunfels Yodelers picked up a win at Yodelers Grounds, downing the Waco Mammoths, 5-4. On the mound for New Braunfels was right-hander Rodolfo Valdés, who played a pivotal role in the win. Cancio Prado, who is tied for 3rd in the EFBA in wins with 8, earned the save for New Braunfels. The defeat makes Waco 21-25.

Adrián Félix had a big run-scoring double for the Yodelers in the bottom of the fifth inning. With New Braunfels leading 4-2 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a knuckle curve from Luis Rojas, who is tied for 7th in the EFBA in innings pitched with 95.1, and swatted a double to right. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Yodelers ahead, 5-2.

"Rodolfo is tough to beat when he's hitting his spots," said New Braunfels manager Dave Combs.
