Layabouts Lose Late to Yardmen
Latif bin Afif propelled his team to victory over the Lubbock Layabouts. The final score was 5-4, Wichita Falls. Wichita Falls reliever Farquhar Morris picked up the win, while Manuel Herrera took the loss for Lubbock. The loss makes Lubbock 39-31.

Wichita Falls used the timely hitting of Vladislav Marek to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Yardmen on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Marek.
