The Amarillo Horizons walked off with a big win.

The Lubbock Layabouts could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Nathan Mackay into a win. Instead, the Amarillo Horizons prevailed, 5-4. Mackay threw 10.0 innings of 7-hit ball. Amarillo is now 51-33, Lubbock 39-45.

The decisive blow was delivered in the bottom of the 12th when Rutilio Trejo hit a run-scoring double off 20-year old right-handed pitcher Amaro Barrancos to win the game for Amarillo. The home crowd went wild.

"Big win," said Trejo.
