Ghost Lights Claim Late Win
Marfa beat Odessa at Odessa Fields, eking out a 5-4 win in 12 innings. The win was due in large part to third baseman Silvio Ferrer. He went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Ray Jeffery earned the save for Marfa, his 2nd of the year. With the win, the Ghost Lights have a record of 49-36.

Marfa used the timely hitting of Jocelyn Godin to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 12th inning to put the Ghost Lights on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Godin said.
