The New Braunfels Yodelers locked up a win at Yodelers Grounds, knocking off the Waco Mammoths, 8-3. On the mound for New Braunfels was left-hander Eduardo Campoverde. He played a major role in the triumph. With the win, the Yodelers improved to 41-36.

New Braunfels took the lead, 4-3, on Eunosto Romero's 1st double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Romero hit in the bottom of the seventh, made Waco pitcher Ulises Gómez wince.

"We did a lot of things right," said Romero.
