The Luling Lavender Stockings beat the San Marcos Cadavers, 4-3. Luling pitcher and Xalisco, Mexico, native Sebastián Flores led the way. With the win, the Lavender Stockings improved to 52-48.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 3-3, 22-year old left fielder Callum Moffat won it for Luling. With a runner on 3rd, Moffat hit a 2-2 fastball from Billy King for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 4-3 win.

Luling manager Noah Malone commended his team for "bagging a nice win."
