Taos and Santa Fe got after it at Santa Fe Stadium.

The Taos Artists beat the Santa Fe Hollyhocks, 13-3, at Santa Fe Stadium. The Artists got a fine performance from shortstop Jerónimo Torres, who went 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The winning pitcher was Octavio Álvarez. He tossed 135 pitches over 9 innings, allowing 3 runs on 12 hits.

In the first inning, Torres had a bases-clearing double for Taos. It was his 23rd double of the season and put the Artists on top, 4-0.

"We did a lot of things right," said Torres.
