Yardmen Use Late Rally to Win
The Wichita Falls Yardmen picked up a win at Yardmen Park, knocking off the Amarillo Horizons, 4-2. Starting pitcher Íñigo León was a big reason why. León yielded 2 runs over 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 9. His record improves to 23-9. Wichita Falls sits in second place in the Western Association Abilene Circuit at 70-54.

Wichita Falls won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With no outs and Jack Carpenter on the mound for Amarillo, right fielder Diego González hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Yardmen fans to their feet.
