In the 14-6 Wichita Falls win over Abilene, the impact of Gaspar Campusano was substantial. Campusano was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. The Yardmen upped their record to 73-54.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Yardmen grabbed the lead when Campusano hit his 19th double of the season. The 2-run double off Orlando Figueroa made it 8-6, Wichita Falls.
