Preachers Topple Horizons with Late Rally
With third baseman Aimón Sánchez leading the charge, the Abilene Preachers defeated the Amarillo Horizons, 7-5, at Horizons Park. Sánchez was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs. The win went to Orlando Figueroa in relief. His record improves to 13-16. Tony Harrison took the loss. The Preachers sport a record of 49-83.

Sánchez had a game-changing double in the top of the ninth. On a 0-1 fastball from Tony Harrison, he banged a run-scoring double to left, giving the Preachers a 6-5 lead. It was the 13th double of the year for Sánchez.

"Nice win for us," said Sánchez. "Now we'll go after the next one."
