Leopardos 6-0 Losers to Pinar del Rio

Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Santa Clara Leopardos take on the Pinar del Rio Guajiros.
Guajiros first baseman Nicolás Hernández put his stamp on his team's 6-0 win over the Santa Clara Leopardos. Hernández went 2-3 with a triple and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times for Pinar del Rio in the contest. The win makes Pinar del Rio 75-49.
Hernández came through for the Guajiros in the top of the sixth inning. With Pinar del Rio leading 2-0, the first baseman drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It made the score 3-0, Pinar del Rio.
"The division is still up for grabs, but I like our chances," Hernández told the Pinar del Rio Citizen.
