Late Rally Earns Wichita Falls 4-2 Win
A good performance from first baseman Timoteo Rodríguez helped the Wichita Falls Yardmen defeat the Abilene Preachers, 4-2. Rodríguez was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks for the Yardmen. Earning his 15th save for Wichita Falls was Eugenio Prieto. Wichita Falls sits in third place in the Western Association Abilene Circuit at 64-65.

Wichita Falls used the timely hitting of Orocobix Márquez to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Yardmen on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Rodríguez.
