The Thurso Bucherons got a marvelous performance from pitcher Chris McAfee. The right-hander kept the Lachute offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 5-1 Thurso victory at Supercalenders Park. McAfee got the win, improving to 5-6. He gave up 7 hits and walked 3 over 9 innings. He allowed 1 run. The victory gives Thurso a record of 72-60.

Timoteo Lozano helped out the Thurso cause in the top of the first inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the center fielder was 1 for 3 with 2 walks.
